- To recap, Sue McGilvray and Christina Seward came through a deep women's draw. They emerged from the round robin as the #2 seed, but played a great final to win 6-4, 6-0 over Annie Janeway and Mary Chamberlain.
In the Mixed championship, we had three teams who only played a round robin format. Elizabeth Wilcox and Lucian Snow cometed gamely (including Lucian's patented behind-the-back volley), as did 2024 champs Annie Janeway and Bear Barnes. In the end, My wife and I, Christina Astley, came through to take the title.
The men's draw had four teams that competed in the round robin, with the top two teams playing out the final. The winners were Dan Gottlieb and I, getting past Dave Evans and Mark Perkins in a fun, hard-fought match.
Friday Night Socials
A number of socials were held on Friday nights during the 2025/26 winter season. Members and their guests connected under the lights for social play, nibbles and conversation.
Open Paddle Mixers - 2025/26
Open Paddle Mixers are held on Sundays throughout the season. Players of all levels drop in and mix for social play and connection.
